The current mask we have developed is FDA registered (Listing # D387543) QKR schedule. Registered use as a face mask (except N95 respirator) for general public/healthcare personnel per IIE guidance. The mask consists of the following specifications:
DISCLAIMER: While these are not N95 respirators, our mask is FDA registered. Our masks can serve as a barrier to mitigate the spread of some germs, serve as a reminder for individuals not to touch their face, provide a safer alternative to using bandanas, and help provide an alternative mask that can be used when an N95 is not mandatory.
We ordered some of the older version of these masks and they did not fit well. Contacted Meta Threads and they send out new masks that had been redesigned. The new masks still don’t fit great but I was blown away by the customer service and the masks will work, just not great.
I've used a few different masks during quarantine, none of them are as comfortable as this one.
The white on black pattern also matches most things I wear. The real bonus though is when people ask me about the pattern and how comfortable it is. I still have to go grocery shopping and usually the clerks ask me where I got it and if I can wear it for longer than 10 minutes. My answer is always yes, and that if you don't like the pattern meta threads has something for you. I picked this one because I liked it and wanted to be comfortable while being responsible at the same time. The other reason I purchased it was because it also meant two healthcare workers got a mask just as comfortable to wear during the 18 hour shifts they might be pulling in a much more dangerous area.
My thoughts are if you want people to wear a mask, they should be comfortable otherwise people will choose to go without.
Props metathreads keep up the good work.
